“Most of the time, character is not an individual accomplishment. It emerges through joined hearts and souls, and in groups.”
-David Brooks, Op-ed columnist at the New York Times
Join West Side Sephardic Synagogue, UJA-Federation of New York, and Manhattan synagogues for a community-wide conversation about the bonds that unite us in an increasingly divisive time. David Brooks will share his reflections on character, gratitude, and how we can magnify the best in ourselves and in each other. Mr. Brooks will also engage in dialogue with UJA-Federation CEO Eric Goldstein about finding common ground and fostering collective purpose.
