About Bikur Cholim In The Home

The  Bikur Cholim (visiting the sick) In The Home Program services the elderly and people who are ill, isolated and Homebound, to help them feel connected and supported. We offer services on Shabbat and Weekly, both in private homes and in local Nursing & Rehabilitation facilities, on the Upper West Side and Upper East Side of Manhattan. Our Chesed activities range from  Home Visits, Tele-Bikur Cholim, assistance with escorting & errands, and delivering food packages during holiday seasons. When necessitated by Covid, we replaced in-person Bikur Cholim with tele-visits.

In these Post -Covid times, we are  cautiously re-instating home visits with Covid protection measures,  including wellness screenings, masks wear and social distance. If you are interested to partake in this tremendous Mitzvah or if you know someone who is, please contact Esther at
